Most visitors miss the beauty of this region by only seeing a glimpse on a day trip from Medellín with the sole intention of climbing the Piedra del Peñol.

Tip: Be sure to pack mosquito repellent when staying next to the lake or participating in activities near the water as they can be quite bad during some seasons.

The best thing to do near this hotel is to climb the 649 steps to the top of Piedra del Peñol.
